Cluster 5: Big Data in the Humanities
The topic of Cluster 5 is the use of big data methods in the humanities. The main focus is the dissemination and further development of relevant methodological competencies for procedures and tools that allow to analyze and to visualize large sets of research data in the humanities. Besides developing and describing methods of quantitative analysis with in three major use cases from different fields of research, the Cluster will produce a commented bibliography on literature relevant for the topic, and organize events to disseminate the results.
